Sustainability
At Paragon, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality while minimising our environmental impact. We recognise our responsibility to operate sustainably and continuously improve our practices to protect the environment and promote healthier spaces for our clients and employees.
Environmentally Responsible Materials
We prioritise the use of low or zero-VOC and water-based paints to improve air quality and reduce harmful emissions. We will always recommend the use of these products over traditional oil-based products where possible. Additionally, the disposal of water-based products is much better for the environment and has little to no impact on groundwater.
All our limewash paints are 100% natural with zero-VOCs.
We use all recyclable materials for our floor protection including cardboard and long use dust sheets. All carpet protection film is recycled once used.
Waste Reduction and Recycling
We actively reduce waste by accurately estimating materials, reusing equipment where feasible, and segregating waste on-site for recycling. Leftover paints and materials are disposed of responsibly in line with local authority guidelines, and we aim to partner with suppliers who offer take-back of recycling schemes.
Vehicles
At present, all vehicles are diesel powered. We have made a commitment to change these vehicles to EVs by 2030.
Continuous Improvement
Sustainability is an ongoing journey for us. We regularly review our environmental performances, seek feedback and stay informed on best practices to improve our sustainability standards year on year.
